Hospital introduction
Rahman Hospitals Pvt. Ltd. is an advanced centre for Neurological, Neurosurgical, Spinal
Diseases, Trauma, 24 x 7 Accident & Emergency Care and Allied Specialties. The hospital was
inaugurated by the Late honourable Ex-Chief Minister of Assam, Sri TarunGogoi on 12th June
2010.

Clinical leadership
Dr. M.L.A Rahman, Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon and Director of the Rahman Hospitals
Private Limited. He has completed hisM.Ch Neurosurgery from National Institute of Mental
Health And Neurosciences (NIMHANS) Bangalore. He has been trained in Neuro-endoscopy as
well as in Neuro-navigation and Image-guided neuro-surgery under Prof. Gaab at the University
of Greifswald, Germany and was a Visiting Fellow at the King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia. He has experience in conducting more than 30,000 major & minor neurosurgeries
including cranial and spinal traumas for the past 32 years.
Rahman Hospital is a hundred (100) bed indoor treatment facility with the most modern
equipment, providing health care at an affordable cost.
We have 25 Full-time Consultants, 20 Visiting Consultants under the team of Dr M. L. A
Rahman, the renowned neurosurgeon of the North-East.
The Neuro team consists of a panel of Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Interventional Neuro-radiologist,
Neuro-anaesthetists, Neuro- Physicians, Critical Care Physicians, General Surgeons, Neuro-trained
Nursing staff, O.T and ICU Technicians.
